It’s almost 5 months since the launch of the Bitverse Heroes with the GEN0 sale. GEN1 Heroes hit the stores in December, and we’re so happy to see so many of our Heroes making their way through all of our Bitverse games.

Unstaking Your Hero

If you’ve picked up a Bitverse Hero NFT and have been using it in the Bitverse games, you already know that in order to use your Bitverse Hero in the different Bitverse games, you need to “stake” it.

Staking your Hero is the process of removing your Hero from your wallet and placing it into a “read” state.

Once you stake a Hero, it essentially moves the NFT from your wallet to a centralized location. This means that your NFT is playable in the game, but cannot be traded or sold on the Marketplace.

We are thrilled to announce that soon we will add the ability to unstake your NFT on thebitverse.io, thus allowing you to move your Hero back to your wallet, making it available for trade or sale on the open marketplace.
